Aboards '2010 Kitesurfboard



2010 model 5'6'' and 5'11" kite surf board from ABoards Kiteboarding is not only enhanced board with improved core construction, but also features whole range of new accessories. All boards in standard come with honey comb + wood combined thruster fins set for durability and strength of construction. Fins are red color for better visibility in water. Footstraps have been derived from successful and ultra comfy kiteboard straps. Board itself is a high performance material; perfectly suited for general strapped-in riding whereas more experienced riders will also be able to take it without.

Board is built with multilayer glass epoxy and has specially reinforced areas around footstraps, pads and fins. Wooden stringers in the board allow optimal stiffness for confident riding. Progressive rocker line gives excellent maneuverability whilst sharper edges at the rear side ensure clean exits and outmost control. Squash tail provides stability at powered bottom turns without sacrificing the quickness and necessary feel.

  68 tons:
Each board of ABoards collection 2010 has been produced in technologically advanced manufacturing press under the pressure of 68 tons. Such pressure guarantees our boards are of extreme strength and durability.
  Upwinder tips:
X-series and Z-series boards of ABoards 2008 collection are designed with 2 symmetrical special outline extensions at each tip of the board - so called „upwinders” - ensuring the tip at the rear has increased working area that surfaces into the water for maximum edging potential. The result is superior upwind performance, without compromising manoeuvrability of the board
  3D Top Deck:
Computer assisted manufacturing machines allow 3D profiling of the board core and top deck in such detail to obtain outstanding results in thermo-presses where boards are created.
  Flex zones:
Computer calculated and rider tested 3D surface profile with different thickness of top deck creates dedicated zones of various flex levels across the board ensuring immediate absorption of any vibrations and provides the board with outstanding pop.
  ABS Rail:
Rail of the board is created from particularly strong ABS plastic to protect the board from bumps and crashes and to keep together layers of board’s top and bottom at high load areas.
  Anti-scratch cover:
Top and bottom deck of the board is covered with transparent anti-scratch cover of well chosen thickness. Anti-scratch cover protects all technological layers and board graphics from any bumps, scratches and UV sunlight.
  Super Strong Core:
Combination of such materials as Airex, ABS and wood that are particularly aligned within the board’s core allows to create ultra-light, but super-strong board
  Tunnel concave:
Developed by hydrodynamic software and proven in years of exploitation tunnel concave of our boards ensures great acceleration and planning combined with stability and control in riding, as well as easy upwind.

Fotstroper



 
 
2010 season Solid Foot Lock System (SFLS) – Atmosphere. SFLS Atmosphere brings the success of last year’s introduction even further. The strap materials are made even softer. The width, angle and shape of the straps arch are optimized to keep your feet locked tightly but comfy. SFLS consists of combined footstrap and footpad that works as a unified binding system that is super easy to mount/dismount in a single move.
 

Finner



 
 
Hydrodynamic shape of extra strong G10 material fins is suitable for most riding styles. Red color of fins ensures good visibility of board when in the water.
